Time-Extended Conversations

Another fine post by Robin Good:

Events Break Out Of The Physical Space-Time Prisons

Online (and offline) events should not be confined anymore to the physical time-space of when and where the event actually occurs.

(…)

…extended and ongoing multiplicity of information and conversation channels, which start before the actual event and go on for a long time after it.

These are a new class of powerful, inclusive, popular and engaging events liberated from the straightjacket of space-time by the convergence of usable new media technologies: X-events.

He goes on to delineate their fascinating traits.

I’m thinking convergence: amassing, assembling, associating, clustering, collecting, combining, concursion, confluence, congregating, consolidating, coupling, gathering, growing, incorporating, intensifying, joining, linking, magnifying, massing, meeting, multiplying, proliferating, thickening, unifying, widening into what lies beyond the present horizon.

Official announcement of dev.wp-plugins.org on the WordPress Development Blog.

Good show.

So much to do, so little time

Perhaps its time to reduce it to just 43 Things

Discover what’s important, make it happen, share your progress. Find your 43 things

A “really intruiging premise.”

I’ve overlooked this gem sofar, somehow kept confusing it with 43 Folders.

European Constitution Wiki

Now this looks like a worthwhile project:

A usable, permalinkable, open and annotatable version of the European Constitution.

Unlike the official copies residing “in some PDFs marked ‘Beware of the Leopard’

Yay!
