EU Mac Users Petition Apple

If you’re in the EU, please consider adding your signature to the Reasonable price for the Mac mini in the EU Petition.

A worthy cause.

The Reason Why Microsoft Sucks

Scoble says:

…having people around to tell you when your company sucks is very important

OK, Microsoft sucks because Windows sucks!

(The frustration of having to spend hours on someone else’s XP box that refuses to print is enough to drive even the most saintly person into a screaming rage!)

Update: 15 Jan. 05
After cooling down and some serious reflection I was tempted to delete this post - and perhaps even a few others wherein I’ve been unduely negative.

I fear, however, that that way, I’d more than likely fall into the same trap again soon. So, in an honest attempt at developing a greater degree of equanimity, I shall desist and hopefully, in future, be able to relent.

More small pieces of music, loosely joined

Sébastien Paquet has hit on something here….

Quoting Lucas Gonze:

“a web-hosted player for web-hosted content linked to in web-hosted playlists, and the player, playlist, and songs can all reside on separate servers.”

He’s already got his own jukebox set up running the XSPF Web Music Player:

an an open source flash-based web application that uses xspf playlist format to play mp3 songs. XSPF is the XML Shareable Playlist Format. The software is written in Actionscript 2.

Is this gonna take off, or what?

European Corporate Blogs

MWSF Keynote Stream

If you haven’t watched Steve Jobs in action at this year’s MWSF yet, then consider this a recommendation.

The contrast in spirit and style between Apple and Microsoft could not be sharper.
