More on Microsoft’s Pay-to-Fix-Our-Mess Business Model

… I’m not sure Microsoft deserves our grateful thanks for attempting to clean up the mess it’s made with its insecure software.
(…)
Windows’ (and Internet Explorer’s and Outlook’s etc. etc.) historic friendliness to malware may have given rise to an industry designed to deal with the problems it causes, but those companies surely knew if Microsoft ever sold better OS they’d have to find new work in any event. (Of course, I’d be wary of any solution Microsoft came up with here, given the blatant conflict of interest.)

Spot on!

Dan Gillmor’s Bayosphere

Of, by and for the Bay Area:

The promise of the Internet was simple, but incredibly powerful: to be a medium through which we could connect and collaborate, for mutual benefit. It’s happening. As the Net matures, we are learning to write as easily and fluently as we read.

At Bayosphere, we’re going to create a community fueled by that notion. We will reflect — and reflect on — the news, needs and ideas of the San Francisco Bay Area and especially the technology sphere that is the prime economic driver of the area.

Going with Drupal is a Bryght idea too!

del.icio.us Blog!

Joshua says:

In the interest of increasing communication with our users, i’ve decided launch ourselves into the blogosphere and begin a corporate blog. We’ll talk about del.icio.us, upcoming features, site status and cat pictures. We also will be using it as a showcase for our coming blog integration tools and to highlight some of the great stuff people have done with the API.
